Additionally, the NYIAS 2022 will play host to the World Car Of The Year (WCOTY), as the winners will be announced on April 13, 2022. Unveiled late last year, the Kia Niro will make its North American debut in a few hours, which sees a huge design departure from the outgoing model. Anyhow, the 2023 Kia Telluride will feature cosmetic changes, both to its externals and internals, but the highlight would be the new side-by-side touchscreens, that earlier debuted with the Kia Sorento and Kia Sportage.

Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

The German carmaker will reveal its latest electric model on April 19, during the public days of the NYIAS, and so we will have to wait a little longer to catch a glimpse of it. However, the company did tease its silhouette last week based on the same design language but with a more spacious cabin and higher ground clearance, of course. The 7-seater electric SUV will lead the charge for Mercedes-Benz’s next wave of electric vehicles. The EQS sedan, however, is slated for an India debut soon.

We’ve been hearing some chatter regarding the American carmaker in recent weeks. About making an announcement at the biggest auto show on that side of the hemisphere. And the moment could be away for only a matter of hours, as Jeep will, fingers crossed, reveal the long-wheelbase versions of the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Added with the L suffix, both the Jeep Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L are long overdue for the American market, and we won’t be surprised if the carmaker showcases these.
