LeddarTech has a new LeddarEngine that works with its new chipset while retaining backward compatibility with older chips, alongside being modular and more interopable with third party platforms
LeddarTech has launched a new version of its LeddarEngine LiDAR development stack which includes a software stack coupled with its own LCA3 system on chip (SoC) and LeddarSP signal processing system that will make mass deployment of LiDARs for ADAS more affordable. The LeddarEngine software has new integrations and compatibility with more hardware platforms. It is now offering separation control, signal processing, and point to cloud processing.
LeddarTech believes tier 1 and 2 system integrators and new LiDAR makers will benefit from this technology. This new LeddarEngine is also compatible with Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+MPSoC and also supports Renesas R-Car SoC. This new engine also makes porting to other platforms and operating systems thanks to its new modular architecture.
